⚙️ Equipment Standards

  • Wind Tunnel: Built to aerospace-grade standards with triple-redundant motor systems
  • Safety Nets: Multi-layer cushioned netting surrounds the entire flight chamber
  • Helmets: DOT-certified flight helmets provided for all participants
  • Flight Suits: Fire-resistant, snag-free suits designed specifically for wind tunnel flight
  • VR Equipment: Lightweight, securely fastened headsets with automatic disconnect safety
  • Ear Protection: Noise-reducing ear plugs provided for all flyers

👤 Participant Requirements

  • Minimum age: 4 years old (parental consent required for all minors)
  • Maximum weight: 300 lbs (136 kg)
  • Must be able to communicate with instructor via hand signals
  • Must wear closed-toe shoes (rental shoes available)
  • Long hair must be tied back securely
  • Remove all jewelry, watches, and loose accessories before flight

🚫 Medical Restrictions

For your safety, the following conditions may prevent participation:

  • Recent shoulder dislocation (within 6 months)
  • Severe back or neck injuries
  • Pregnancy
  • Heart conditions or recent cardiac events
  • Epilepsy or seizure disorders (VR flights only)
  • Under the influence of alcohol or drugs

If you're unsure about any medical condition, consult your physician before booking and inform our staff during check-in.

📋 Pre-Flight Briefing

Every participant receives a comprehensive 30-minute safety briefing covering:

  • Body positioning and balance techniques
  • Hand signal communication system
  • Entry and exit procedures
  • Emergency protocols
  • VR headset operation (for VR flights)

🧑‍✈️ Instructor Protocol

  • All instructors hold IBA (International Bodyflight Association) certifications
  • Minimum 500 hours of instructing experience required
  • Annual recertification and continuing education
  • 1-on-1 instructor ratio for all beginner flights
  • Instructors present inside the tunnel at all times during flights

🚨 Emergency Procedures

  • Emergency stop buttons accessible at 4 locations around the flight chamber
  • On-site first aid team certified in CPR and emergency response
  • Automated external defibrillator (AED) on premises
  • Direct emergency medical service liaison — average response time under 5 minutes
  • All staff trained in emergency evacuation procedures
